For the next final concert in our 50th Anniversary Season, Lancashire Chamber Orchestra will be joining forces with the Maia Choir, who are also 50!  They will be serenading you with a delightful selection of songs under the expert direction of Mr John Pomphrey.

We are also thrilled that Ivor Hodgson has composed a new piece for the Lancashire Chamber Orchestra which will receive its World Premier at this performance.

Our programme will also include well known favourites from the classics:

Purcell – Britten: Chaconne for Strings

Elgar: Salut d’Amour

Schubert: Entr’acte from Rosamunde and Symphony No. 5, last movement

Guiding the orchestra through this beautiful repertoire for this concert will be our principal conductor, the ever-entertaining Mr Robert Chasey.

As usual, there will be a delicious selection of cakes to enjoy with your tea or coffee at the interval.
